In the second book, the setting often changes. So lucky Mana had a lot of concept stuff to draw. You can take a look at some of the character and creature concepts here:

Big changes and an unused cover
The comic was originally planned as an album-sized series with 46 pages per comic, each comic adapting half a book.
But after publishing the first volume in March 2006 and scheduling the second for March 2007, the format was changed. Now each volume will be a smaller hardcover and adapt a whole book on 92 pages.
The first HC, containing the already published album nr. 1 and the second album, will be out in October 2007.
And that's how the unpublished second album would have looked like:
